As a co-owner in Boulder Ridge Condominium Association, I am formally requesting access to the ledger, bank statements, reconciliation reports from April 2025 to now for the Boulder Ridge Condo Association, per our association bylaws. For the purpose of understanding the transaction’s details, authorization, and purpose.
From our by laws:
ARTICLE XIV FINANCE Section 1. Records. The Association shall keep detailed books of account showing all expenditures and receipts of administration which shall specify the maintenance and repair expenses 26 of the Common Elements and any other expenses incurred by or on behalf of the Association and the Co-owners. Such accounts and all other Association records shall be open for inspection by the Co-owners and their mortgagees during reasonable working hours.

This request is made pursuant to MCL 559.157 of the Michigan Condominium Act, which requires that “the books, records, and contracts concerning the administration and operation of the condominium project shall be available for examination by any of the co-owners at convenient times.”
Additionally, under Mich. Admin. Code R. 559.505, the association must maintain “detailed, accurate records in chronological order of the receipts and expenditures affecting the common elements,” which must also be made available to co-owners for inspection.
