Dear Boulder Ridge Owners and residents,

We would like to thank everybody that has decided to do the right thing and get a trash can.  Many of you still do not have a trash can and are using other peoples trash bins so they are overflowing.  A bag left out was ripped open and food was everywhere.  How nice.

We think the only way to make sure everyone has a garbage can is to ask you to send me a picture of yours.  We will also be on site to write down the address numbers on the can as best we can.   Text the picture.  

Any unit without a trash can will be subject to a fine.  You have been given ample opportunity to purchase one.  I’m sick of picking up your broken bags of dirty diapers and food

Dear Boulder Ridge Residents,

We have tried to be cordial about the trash situation.  It appears as though this is not working.   Please review the attached pictures and maybe you can understand why.  

• Bags are piled up everywhere
• Last week some winds blew trash all over the place
• Someone dumped a hot water tank (will they take it?)
• We have reports of Rats roaming through garbage

Please check out the trash bins you can buy at home depot or wherever you may want to look

Putting out trash in bags is no longer acceptable when this kind of abuse happens.

Landlords, tenants,  as well as owners need to figure this out.   When you buy a trash can let us know and we can put your address on it or you can do it yourself.  If you don’t have room in your garage, make room.

BUY A TRASH BIN OR GET FINED.  YOU HAVE UNTIL JULY 10^TH TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN

Priority Waste Garbage Pickup

• Trash must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on Friday pick-up day (unless holiday)
• No loose garbage–secure in tightly tied bags
• Trash in lidded bins must be bagged securely
• Recyclable items in clear plastic bags are NOT ACCEPTED; contact Priority for bins https://www.prioritywaste.com/
• Place trash out THURSDAY EVENING after 6pm
• Position trash cans and recycling bins with wheels facing your house and lids opening into the street. Label with your address, and retrieve Friday evening
• Residents with open topped 18 gallon recycling totes should replace with a lidded bin
• If your garbage is NOT picked up, you must collect and store until next garbage day to avoid fines
• Please let management know if there is trash blowing around the community that requires attention

For more information on garbage pickup and obtaining a recycling bin, check with the City of Rochester or contact Priority Waste https://www.prioritywaste.com/ to arrange for delivery directly to your property.

FYI: officially recyclables must be in a bin.  If you leave boxes or even items in a clear plastic bag… if garbage pickup occurs before recycling pickup, its getting tossed in the trash and not recycled.  USE A RECYCLING BIN.
